OPPORTUNITY FOR DEVELOPMENT Maintenance Supervisor POSITION MISSION * Maintain equipment, machinery, and plant facilities in optimal working condition through the management of human and material resources to achieve proposed production goals, ensuring safe operation and product quality. POSITION SCOPE * Supervise proper functioning of equipment and machinery * Monitor the preventive maintenance program for plant machinery and facilities, supervise its execution, evaluate, and propose improvements in PM routines * Implement improvements and/or upgrades to equipment and machinery, including the development and implementation of error-proofing devices (poka yokes). • Diagnose and resolve equipment and machinery failures (corrective maintenance) * Ensure availability of operational utilities to various areas: electrical power, water, compressed air * Participate in the control and management of spare parts and/or consumables used in equipment and maintenance areas, propose and select equivalent components * Determine training needs for maintenance personnel, schedule and/or conduct training, and maintain up-to-date records for supervised staff * Plan, schedule, assign, and supervise daily activities of mechanics and technicians to meet PM programs, corrective tasks, and participation in improvement or analysis teams * Develop and participate in Root Cause Analysis events to eliminate recurring problems (80/20\) and implement corrective actions derived from such analyses REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering, or related field aligned with maintenance * Bilingual communication skills • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing maintenance systems (corrective, preventive, and predictive) * Experience in operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment, instrumentation systems, and process control * Experience in programming and diagnostics of systems involving PLCs, HMIs, Vision Systems, and Servomechanisms * Knowledge of process automation systems and equipment, quality systems, and continuous improvement programs. • Experience using a CMMS system (preferably SAP)
