




Job Summary: Web development and technical support specialist responsible for designing, administering, and optimizing institutional web platforms, ensuring their proper operation and user support. Provide technical support to internal users and students. **Web Development and Technical Support Specialist (WordPress)** **Objective:** Design, develop, administer, and optimize institutional web platforms, ensuring their correct operation, continuous updates, and timely technical support for internal users and students, thereby enhancing the Institute’s digital and operational experience. **Requirements** Bachelor’s degree or Engineering in Systems, Computer Science, Web Development, or related field. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in web development and administration. Proven experience with WordPress **(mandatory)** **Functions and Responsibilities** **1\. Web Development and Management** · Design, develop, and update institutional websites. · Manage changes, enhancements, and updates to student platforms. · Manage digital content: creation, deletion, modification, and uploading of recorded classes. · Upload, update, and organize multimedia and academic content. · Perform basic SEO optimization on institutional websites. · Periodically review link integrity, plugins, and databases. · Implement usability and user experience improvements. **2\. Educational Platform Administration** · Manage users (creation, deletion, and modifications). · Monitor proper functioning of courses, access, and materials. · Identify and resolve technical failures in digital platforms. · Maintain backups and updates of digital information. **3\. Technical Support** · Address student technical incidents via WhatsApp and other official channels. · Provide basic technical support to internal staff. · Install, update, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on computer equipment. · Administer printers, antivirus software, and internal network. · Coordinate technical solutions with external vendors when necessary. **Knowledge Requirements:** * WordPress administration and customization. * Hardware and software technical support. * Familiarity with design tools (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or others). * HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript knowledge. * Basic SEO. **We Offer** Salary: $13,000–$15,000 net (based on experience) Statutory benefits Subsidized cafeteria service Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. / Saturday remote work **Location:** Jardines del Bosque neighborhood Position Type: Full-time Salary: $13,000.00–$15,000.00 per month Benefits: * Cafeteria service * Company phone Workplace: On-site employment
