Position Summary: Oversee the store's overall operations, leading the team to maintain an optimal work environment and customer service, and ensuring proper execution of operational processes. Provide necessary direction and feedback to direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, creating an optimal work environment and delivering excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, employee misrecommendation, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are in their assigned locations within the store and that physical inventory matches system records by executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model and ensuring employees provide customer guidance and utilize all tools—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic/test equipment provided by AutoZone—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, while also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for development to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when improvement or training opportunities are identified. * Supervise daily compliance by all employees with scheduled work hours and AutoZone’s dress code, ensuring respectful, courteous, and professional interactions among team members and with customers, consistently applying AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report periodically to identify opportunities for expense control and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of cost-consciousness across all controllable expenditures. * Assign and monitor area supervisors’ tasks—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, parking lot—as well as review daily cash count reports for the main register, perform cash sweeps, and conduct cash register closings for direct reports following AutoZone’s prescribed procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees wear AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or working at in-store test stations, thereby helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of experience as a supervisor in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability to work various shifts AutoZone de México is the leading retailer and distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
