Maintenance of good security practices and code quality Job Description We are looking for a Laravel Backend Developer responsible for the development, maintenance, and evolution of a SaaS platform. The role involves working with APIs, databases, internal processes, and critical system components, ensuring secure, stable, and scalable operation. **Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain APIs and backend modules using Laravel. * Implement business logic, middlewares, permissions, and authentication. * Optimize queries, models, and database structures. * Integrate external services and handle asynchronous processes (jobs/queues). * Collaborate with internal teams to improve and expand functionalities. * Maintain good security practices, documentation, and code quality. **Requirements** * Proven experience with Laravel (9/10/11\) and PHP 8\+ for at least 2 years. * Proficiency in MySQL, Eloquent, and database design. * Knowledge of REST APIs, authentication, and basic design patterns. * Experience with Git and collaborative workflows. * Fundamental understanding of web security. **Desirable (not mandatory)** * Experience with Redis, Docker, or CI/CD. * Knowledge of WebSockets, microservices, or modular architecture. * Familiarity with unit testing (PHPUnit/Pest). **Soft Skills** * Clear communication. * Responsibility and professional ethics. * Problem-solving ability. * Teamwork and self-management. **Offered:** Compensation: **$18,000 MXN net** Participation in a high-level technical project Opportunity to be considered for future permanent collaborations Salary: $15,000\.00 \- $18,000\.00 per month Job Type: Full-time Salary: $15,000\.00 \- $18,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Salary increases * Option for indefinite-term contract * Remote work Work Location: Remote
