




Job Summary: Responsible for managing procurement activities, ensuring the acquisition of goods and services, controlling costs and inventory, and developing supplier relationships. Negotiates and authorizes purchases. **Job Objective:** Responsible for successfully carrying out procurement activities. The procurement department’s management ensures that all goods, services, and inventory required for business operations are ordered and received on time in warehouses; it is also responsible for controlling the cost of purchased products, inventory levels, and must be capable of building strong relationships with suppliers. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** **IMPORTANT: ELECTRICAL MATERIAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED.** 1\. Compile the company’s supplier catalog by selecting suppliers based on their geographical location, payment terms, and product delivery conditions, as appropriate for the company. 2\. Request quotations from suppliers, coordinating procurement actions and supplier selection in coordination with the Project Engineer and/or Administration, depending on the requisition. 3\. Procure equipment, spare parts, and products by issuing purchase orders specifying prices, payment terms, and delivery locations. 4\. Ensure during the receipt process of equipment, spare parts, and products that purchase orders are reconciled against the supplier’s delivery note or invoice, simultaneously verifying physical characteristics, quantities, and product quality upon delivery, always in communication with the Warehouse Department. 5\. Supervise and, where applicable, authorize purchase orders and track receipt, shipment, and delivery of required products. 6\. Complete necessary procedures to confirm the entry of materials, equipment, and/or tools into the company’s warehouse at each project site. 7\. Ensure shipment of requested products and validate them against the purchase order register, tracking and controlling partial deliveries. 8\. Maintain physical and digital files for each procurement process (per project/site) to control purchases through a supplier and material registry enabling effective resolution of the company’s supply needs, always considering pricing, discounts, credit terms, quality, and especially delivery timelines. 9\. Inform internal users, via online and physical files available for consultation, about the progress of procurement processes for each project/site. 10\. Monitor supplier compliance with commitments to the company; otherwise, report and/or initiate appropriate claims. 11\. Comply with established work norms and procedures. 12\. Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor within the scope of competence. 13\. Continuously evaluate input procurement costs through comparative analysis of both pricing and quality characteristics to control the company’s production costs. **AUTHORITY** 14\. Require suppliers to issue invoices corresponding to purchases made once material and/or equipment delivery and receipt have been reviewed at each project/site. 15\. Authorize purchase orders under $2,000 MXN according to project urgency. 16\. Conduct negotiations with suppliers to obtain the most favorable credit terms, delivery timelines, and pricing beneficial to the company. 17\. Process returns as they arise, providing timely follow-up until resolution. 18\. Authorize supplier invoice payments by signing the invoices, ensuring all conditions stipulated in the purchase order have been fulfilled. **SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES** \-Tolerance for working under pressure.
