Job Description
A company in the financial/administrative sector is seeking an **Accounting Assistant** to support the recording and control of accounting and financial transactions, ensuring up-to-date information for daily operations.
Responsibilities
* Enter and review data in SAP and ContPAQ.
* Record accounting and financial journal entries and transactions.
* Prepare and follow up on bank reconciliations.
* Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
* Consolidate and reconcile accounting accounts.
* Prepare accounting working papers.
* Review scheduled payments and debtor/creditor write-offs.
* Assist in administrative processes within the accounting department.
* Maintain updated financial and documentary information.
* Follow up on tasks assigned by the Accounting Department.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum 6 months of experience as an Accounting Assistant.
* Minimum 1 year of experience in the accounting field.
* Proficiency in SAP and/or ContPAQ.
* Knowledge of:
* Accounting principles and Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF).
* Bank reconciliations.
* IMSS, ISR, INFONAVIT, and SAR regulations.
* Accounting recording of payments.
* Account reconciliation.
* Microsoft Office and Windows.
* Analytical and organizational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in teams.
* Service-oriented attitude and discretion.
