Responsibilities: * Welcome customers, assign tables, and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience. * Possess in-depth knowledge of the menu—including ingredients, preparation methods, and recommendations—to advise customers on dish and beverage selections. * Promote and suggest specific items such as appetizers, beverages, desserts, or specialties to maximize sales. * Accurately take orders and relay them to the kitchen team, ensuring all customer requests and preferences are fulfilled. * Remain attentive to customers’ needs during service, responding to questions and managing any special requests or issues. * Operate the point-of-sale system, process payments, and issue receipts efficiently and accurately. * Set up and clear tables, ensuring each station is clean and ready to welcome customers. * Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to maintain consistent service flow and appropriate food and beverage delivery times. * Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times, contributing to a positive atmosphere and customer loyalty. Requirements: * Prior experience as a waiter or in a customer service role (preferred). * Effective communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers. * Proactive, sales-oriented attitude. * Basic knowledge of sales and upselling techniques in the food and beverage industry. * Ability to work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
