**Your Job** As a Production Supervisor at Molex Guadalajara 1, you will lead, motivate, and coordinate the production team to consistently meet product quantity and quality goals aligned with customer expectations. You will play a key role in driving operational efficiency and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the production area. **Our Team** You will be part of the Optical Capability division, specifically focused on Optical Connection products. Our team is dedicated to delivering high\-quality fiber optic and electronic board assemblies through collaboration, innovation, and adherence to best manufacturing practices. **What You Will Do** * Lead and coordinate the production team, assigning tasks to ensure smooth operations and adherence to schedules. * Ensure compliance with production standards, safety protocols, and quality requirements. * Drive training initiatives to enhance the skills and capabilities of operational staff. * Monitor and maintain production volumes, efficiency, and workplace organization (5S principles). * Manage material, tool, and equipment usage to optimize resource efficiency. * Maintain accurate production records including times, incidents, and absenteeism. * Identify and propose process improvements to increase productivity and quality. * Actively participate in Lean and Kaizen continuous improvement activities. * Collaborate closely with supporting departments such as maintenance, quality, and engineering. **Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)** * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Photonics, or related field). * Strong proven experience in production or engineering roles. * Proven ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate production teams effectively. * Strong communication skills with the ability to convey clear instructions and resolve conflicts constructively. * Demonstrated capability to manage schedules, resources, and prioritize tasks under pressure. **What Will Put You Ahead** * Experience working with fiber optic or electronic board assembly. * Intermediate communication skills in English, both written and verbal. * Background in automation and process optimization. * Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement methodology. * Technical project management experience. * Familiarity with optical or silicon photonics product assembly.
