Directly contributes to market share growth JOB DESCRIPTION ### **Join Grupo Calidra as a Construction Specification Specialist!** **Grupo Calidra**, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking an experienced and passionate professional to join our team as a **Construction Specification Specialist**. If you possess a strong vocation for technical consulting and deep knowledge of construction processes. **About the Role:** As a Construction Specification Specialist, you will be the primary driver in identifying and converting construction projects toward adopting CALIDRA’s innovative technical solutions. Your role will be critical in expanding our market share by delivering expert technical consulting directly on-site, conducting practical demonstrations, training labor personnel, and effectively managing any objections that may arise. You will serve as a key bridge between contractors’ needs and CALIDRA’s solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** * Proactively identify, qualify, and engage ongoing construction projects not currently using Calidra products, presenting our benefits and competitive advantages. * Conduct specialized technical visits to perform accurate on-site diagnostics of project needs and propose optimal solutions using Calidra products. * Carry out practical on-site demonstrations and dynamic workshops targeting masons, site supervisors, and contractors, showcasing product application and benefits. * Accompany and supervise the trial and acceptance process of our products, ensuring successful technical and commercial conversion. * Train end users—including distributors and applicators—on the correct, efficient, and safe use of Calidra products through specialized workshops. * Rigorously document success cases and collect technical-commercial feedback from the field to feed back into development and sales teams. * Directly contribute to CALIDRA’s market share growth in the construction sector. **What We’re Looking For:** We seek a professional with at least **3 years of experience** in similar roles, possessing strong industry knowledge of the construction sector and proven ability in technical communication and persuasion. REQUIREMENTS * **Education:** University degree in **Civil Engineering or Architecture** (graduated or intern with verifiable, substantial on-site experience). * **Experience:** Minimum 3 years of experience in technical specification, on-site technical support, technical sales, or similar roles within the construction industry. * **Field Skills:** Demonstrated ability to work autonomously on construction sites, interact effectively with diverse professionals (from laborers to project managers), and resolve technical issues efficiently. * **Results Orientation:** Strong focus on achieving commercial objectives and market penetration targets. * **Communication Skills:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and compelling technical presentations. * **Availability:** Willingness to travel within Jalisco as required. * Valid driver’s license — standard automobile * Basic proficiency with digital tools (Excel, CRM, PPT) **Preferred Qualifications (Bonus):** * Prior experience in labor workforce training. * Knowledge of **mortars, stuccos, and masonry construction processes**. * Familiarity with distributors and sales channels in the construction industry.
