Inventory management and supply chain A design and manufacturing company specializing in lighting fixtures, furniture, and jewelry is expanding and seeking a: **Procurement and Logistics Manager** **Job Objective:** Coordinate inbound and outbound product logistics, managing transportation, warehousing, and distribution to ensure timely and optimal condition delivery of products, while guaranteeing adequate supply of materials, products, and services required for company operations, negotiating with suppliers and optimizing costs. **Key Responsibilities:** * Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contracts with domestic and international suppliers for wood inputs, lighting materials, and other inputs required for manufacturing. * Maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with quality requirements and delivery timelines. * Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce storage costs. * Ensure continuous availability of production materials without interruption. * Organize transportation and delivery of finished products to customers and distributors, coordinating with freight companies to guarantee on-time and in-full deliveries. * Ensure proper storage and handling of inputs and finished goods in warehouses by maintaining warehouse stock records, executed orders, and pending orders. * Implement controls to prevent losses or deterioration. * Effectively manage issues arising during planning, organization, or control of supply chain-related activities. * Coordinate personnel and processes to achieve efficient product distribution. * Evaluate and analyze procurement and transportation costs, continuously seeking process efficiencies. * Prepare periodic reports for management on performance and savings achieved in procurement and logistics areas. * Ensure all procurement and logistics activities comply with local regulations and company policies regarding sustainability and social responsibility. **Position Profile:** * Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * Inventory control. * Intermediate Excel skills (databases, pivot tables, formulas, basic charts). * Knowledge of supply chain. * International trade regulations, customs, and tariffs. * Familiarity with inventory management software. * ERP software usage (preferably ODOO). * Material Requirements Planning (MRP). **Glassford Moncada offers you:** * Salary of $14,000 to $15,000 per month. * Weekly payments. * Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Fridays until 4:00 PM). * Paid afternoon off on your birthday. * Career development opportunity. * Statutory benefits. * Punctuality bonus. * Option for indefinite-term contract. * Central work location (Zapopan Centro).
