Layout Technician / Sheet Metal Bender (Operating press brake and shearing machine) – Stainless steel furniture Main Responsibilities * Layout parts on stainless steel sheet (and/or black steel and galvanized steel) according to drawings or instructions. * Operate shearing machine (shear) to cut sheet metal. * Operate press brake (manual, hydraulic, or CNC, depending on equipment) to shape the laid-out part. * Verify dimensions, tolerances, and part quality. * Adjust dies, punches, or tools on the press brake / shearing machine as required. * Collaborate with the production team to meet delivery deadlines. * Maintain order and cleanliness at the workstation, adhering to safety regulations. Requirements * Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a layout technician and/or sheet metal bender (preferably in stainless steel furniture or similar). * Knowledge and ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical diagrams. * Proficiency in measurement and use of measuring instruments (vernier caliper, square, protractor) and reading dimensions. * Operation of machinery: press brake (manual/hydraulic/CNC) and shearing machine. * Prior experience specifically with stainless steel (and/or black steel/galvanized steel) for furniture is desirable. * Education: Completed or incomplete high school diploma (or equivalent). * Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM. * Demonstrated responsibility, punctuality, teamwork skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
