Job Summary: This role is part of the third-shift laboratory team, performing validation testing of new products and processes, ensuring proper execution, documentation, and traceability of tests. You will contribute to the advancement of NPD/NPI. **Your Role** You will join the third-shift laboratory team for the Datacom \& Specialty Solution Division, executing validation testing of new products and processes (NPD/NPI) according to plans, methods, and instructions defined by engineering. Your role is to ensure proper execution, documentation, and traceability of tests to enable continuity of development and validation outside standard daytime hours, without assuming responsibility for defining test methods, performing advanced analysis, or making technical decisions. **Our Team** You will join the Datacom \& Specialty Solution Division, working closely with Test Engineers, NPD/NPI Engineers, Process Engineers, Quality, and Manufacturing. The team validates designs and processes through disciplined testing and clear cross-shift transfer of information. **What You’ll Do** * Ensure continuity of the third-shift validation program by faithfully executing engineering-defined test plans (electrical, dimensional, mechanical, and environmental). * Deliver clear, complete, and traceable test results to support decision-making and advancement of NPD/NPI by the engineering team. * Prepare and maintain sample lists, equipment, and instrumentation to minimize gaps between shifts and facilitate handover to the day shift. * Promptly detect and report out-of-specification results or atypical behaviors, escalating to the appropriate senior engineer or technician. * Maintain an organized and safe laboratory environment, ensuring proper handling, identification, and safeguarding of samples and equipment. * Organize and present test evidence and data for subsequent analysis by engineering or senior technicians. **Who You Are (Basic Requirements)** * Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Mechatronic, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. * Basic hands-on laboratory experience, test execution experience, or experience in a manufacturing environment. * Availability and willingness to work the third shift in Guadalajara, MX. * Discipline to follow technical procedures and maintain traceable records. * Attention to detail and ability to promptly communicate deviations and request support (in writing and verbally). **What Would Give You an Advantage** * 1\-2 years of experience in electrical testing or product validation. * Exposure to cable or interconnection testing. * Basic knowledge of electrical measurement instruments (multimeter, oscilloscope, power supplies). * Basic proficiency in Excel or structured log sheets. * Intermediate technical English (reading and understanding technical documentation).
