Job Summary: Provide primary support to the Sales and Engineering and Development departments by preparing quotations and assisting with technical-economic analyses and production processes. A Mexican industrial manufacturing company specializing in filtration solutions and technical textile products for industry is seeking: Engineering and Development Assistant Job Objective: Provide primary support to the Sales department by preparing quotations for products, materials, and services, as well as supporting the Engineering and Development department and internal departments as required, ensuring timely response, technical-economic accuracy, supplier follow-up, and information control in SAP. Main Responsibilities: * Receive, analyze, and complete quotation requests for products, materials, and services. * Prepare quotations for Sales, Engineering and Development, and other internal departments. * Request pricing and terms from suppliers for required materials, services, or processes. * Follow up on quotations with suppliers to ensure timely responses. * Compare economic and technical proposals to support internal decision-making. * Create and update technical drawings in AutoCAD when required. * Enter, query, and track information in SAP. * Support the selection and analysis of textile materials, industrial filtration, and production processes. * Conduct time-and-motion analyses to determine manufacturing times and supplement quotations. * Generate reports, controls, and tracking of technical and commercial information. Requirements: -Education: Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related degree. -Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred in quotations, cost estimation, engineering, manufacturing, or similar roles. -Desired knowledge in technical quotations, manufacturing, production processes, time-and-motion studies. -Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite. -SAP knowledge preferred. -Basic or intermediate AutoCAD skills. -Technical English preferred. -Interest in industrial processes, textile materials, and industrial filtration.
