Requirements: * Proven experience as a Lathe Operator in an industrial environment. * In-depth knowledge of conventional turning tools and techniques. * Ability to interpret technical drawings and work with tight tolerances. * Manual dexterity and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Commitment to workplace safety. Key Responsibilities: * Operate and maintain precision lathes to produce parts according to specifications. * Set up machines and select appropriate tools for each job. * Perform precise adjustments and measurements to ensure part quality. * Conduct visual inspections and quality tests to verify compliance. * Maintain and clean equipment in accordance with established standards. * Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment. Receive shift handover and pending jobs from the previous shift. * Verify proper functioning of assigned equipment. * Process pending and current work orders, performing necessary corrections and properly closing work orders. * Prepare spare parts requisition forms at the spare parts warehouse. * Verify proper functioning of assigned equipment (lathes, milling machines, planers, mechanical band saws). * Carry out Preventive Maintenance orders. * Prepare daily logs and hand over shift to the next technician.
