We are seeking a TEXTILE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER. Job Objective: Responsible for leading cross-functional teams to ensure efficient product development both nationally and internationally. Will supervise key processes, including creation and maintenance of technical specifications, product engineering management, and operational optimization, to guarantee accurate and timely delivery. Additionally, will develop structured policies, processes, and databases to improve departmental efficiency. Requires experience in operations management, product development, and leadership with focus on implementing effective organizational structures. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field. Language: Advanced English Knowledge: Focused on achieving company objectives and goals. Ability to plan and execute strategies that optimize operations and project delivery. Ability to identify problems and propose effective solutions. Ability to work with and lead multidisciplinary teams. Leadership and team management. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Knowledge of BOMs, tech packs, and technical documentation preparation and management. Key Responsibilities: Team Management and Leadership: Lead, guide, and communicate effectively with SBM, Product, Operations, and Development teams to achieve objectives. Align priorities and ensure process efficiency. Establish structure, processes, and policies within the department to enhance overall process efficiency. Eliminate errors, reduce rework, and thereby optimize departmental operations. Ensure all departments (SBM, Product, Operations, and Development) align with customer and product requirements. Technical Specifications: Ensure Technical Specification Development teams thoroughly understand products and project requirements. Establish processes to create and maintain a MASTER INFORMATION BASE containing all technical specifications for each product. Establish processes to maintain rigorous, detailed control over technical specifications, with a clear, structured process for creation, updating, and archiving of each specification. Ensure the team has an organized structure and clear policies to access correct, well-ordered information based on the information needs required for the success of each project. Product Development and Design: Lead and supervise national and international product development through developers. Ensure the development team has all essential BASE information, such as BOMs, tech packs, and other key documentation. Product Engineering: Lead and supervise the product engineering team to ensure thorough understanding of products and customer requirements. Lead collection of samples, laboratory test reports, and other necessary documentation for final proposals. Operational Efficiency: Implement and supervise processes that improve efficiency and clarity in departmental operations. Anticipate project needs and ensure timely and accurate delivery. Process Structuring and Creation: Develop and establish processes, policies, and templates for proper departmental functioning. Ensure departments acting as suppliers or customers of this department receive and provide information timely and correctly, with appropriate priorities and focus. System and Database Creation: Create and maintain development management systems (COATS) and structured databases to manage information efficiently. Develop detailed base information, including tech packs, BOMs, samples, detailed labels, and all essential information for each product. Work Location: 1ero. de Mayo, Naucalpan de Juárez.
