We are seeking a **General Manager** to consolidate the operations of a **luxury boutique hotel located in Mexico City**, ensuring excellence standards, profitability, and an authentic service culture. **Position Objective** Be the leader who positions the hotel as a benchmark in hospitality, guaranteeing operational efficiency, sustainable profitability, and a top\-tier guest experience through close leadership and continuous improvement processes. **Main Responsibilities** #### **Operational and Service Management** * Supervise the daily operations of all hotel areas: front desk, rooms, maintenance, food and beverage, bars and restaurants. * Ensure strict adherence to service standards across all areas (check\-in/out, cleanliness, food and beverage, guest service). * Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly and effectively to complaints or incidents. * Guarantee continuous hotel operation through efficient preventive and corrective maintenance. * Anticipate and resolve contingencies related to power, water, connectivity, or weather, typical of operating on an island. #### **Leadership and Team Development** * Lead and develop a team of approximately 4**0 employees** including operational and administrative staff. * Train and support area managers to strengthen leadership, discipline, and commitment to service. * Foster a work environment based on respect, honesty, collaboration, and guest orientation. * Identify key talent and design development plans to ensure continuity and retention. * Implement performance evaluations and periodic feedback sessions. #### **Financial and Administrative Management** * Prepare and control operating budgets, inventories, and costs for each department. * Analyze hotel KPIs: occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, food costs, payroll, and profitability. * Ensure efficient use of resources (energy, supplies, personnel) to guarantee financial sustainability. * Supervise accounting and administrative reports in coordination with group management. * Approve purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and external service contracts. #### **Strategic Planning and Projects** * Develop and implement continuous improvement projects, renovations, or new service areas. * Create strategies to position the hotel against local competition. * Coordinate internal campaigns to enhance gastronomic, wellness, or cultural experiences that enrich the hotel brand. * Participate in strategic decisions of the hotel group, providing performance indicators and projections. #### **Risk Management and Continuity** * Apply safety protocols for guests and staff. * Maintain direct communication with local suppliers, authorities, and service companies to ensure uninterrupted operations. **Ideal Candidate Profile** * Minimum of **5 years' experience as General Manager of a luxury boutique hotel or resort**, or as **Director of Operations / Rooms Division** with potential to move into general management. * **Essential**: Hotel experience. * Proven leadership experience managing **teams of more than 40 people.** * Solid knowledge of **budget control, costs, inventories, KPIs, and international service standards.** * Fluent English required (oral and written). * Professional background in Hotel Administration, Tourism or related field (desirable). * Results\-oriented profile, resilient, analytical, and with strong execution skills. **We Offer:** * Indefinite contract and job stability. * Competitive compensation according to experience (confidential during the process). **Desired Education Level:** Higher education \- degree holder **Desired Experience Level:** Managerial Level **Departmental Function:** Tourism / Hospitality **Industry:** Hospitality **Skills:** * responsible * analytical * organized * leadership * hotel expertise *This job posting comes from the Talenteca.com job board:* *https://www.talenteca.com/anuncio?j\_id\=69092eb75b000044008c1379\&source\=indeed*
