The profile should focus on teaching technical content, while also promoting critical thinking, creativity, and innovation in the use of current tools and technologies. This teacher must be a role model of professionalism, ethics, commitment, and responsibility both in the academic environment and in the professional setting. **1\. Academic Qualifications:** * **Minimum Degree:** Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering (university degree). * **Desired Postgraduate Degree:** Master’s in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Logistics, Quality Systems, or related fields. * **Additional Certifications:** Certifications in specific industrial engineering tools (such as Lean Manufacturing, AutoCAD, etc.) or in areas like project management and quality (ISO 9001, etc.). **2\. Professional Experience:** * **Industry Experience:** At least 1 year of experience in positions related to Industrial Engineering, such as process management, operations optimization, production planning and control, quality management, logistics, among others. Practical experience is essential for effective teaching. * **Teaching Experience:** Preferably with experience teaching at the higher education level in universities or technical institutes, although teachers with professional training experience may also be considered. **3\. Technical Knowledge and Skills:** * **Mastery of Industrial Engineering Principles:** Solid knowledge in areas such as ergonomics, methods and time studies, quality management, operations research, optimization, system simulation, logistics, among others. * **Tools and Software:** Proficiency in using specific software relevant to the field, such as advanced Excel, AutoCAD, among others. * **Current Trends:** Awareness of the latest technological and methodological trends applicable to industrial engineering, such as Industry 4\.0, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence applied to process management, and big data analytics. **4\.
