Responsibilities: **The Opportunity** We are looking for a highly skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in MySQL and PostgreSQL to manage, maintain, and optimize mission\-critical database environments. The DBA will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, scalability, and security of database platforms across on\-premises and cloud environments. **Your Impact** As **Database Administrator (MySQL \& PostgreSQL)** your responsibilities would consist of:* Database Administration: Install, configure, upgrade, and patch MySQL/PostgreSQL. Troubleshoot performance issues, tune queries, and manage replication/clustering. * Backup \& Recovery: Implement backups (pgBackRest, WAL, MySQL Enterprise Backup). Test DR procedures. Maintain patching. * Cloud \& Automation: Manage DBs in AWS RDS, Aurora, Azure, GCP. Automate with Shell/Python/Ansible. Support CI/CD. * Performance \& Capacity Planning: Optimize workloads, forecast scaling needs. * Security \& Compliance: Apply encryption, auditing, and security patching. Qualifications: **¿Who Are We Looking For?*** 4\+ years DBA experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL is a must. * Replication, clustering, partitioning, sharding. * Performance tuning, indexing, query optimization. * Cloud DB experience (AWS, Azure, GCP). Migration experience (on\-prem cloud, MySQL* PostgreSQL). * Linux admin and scripting (Shell/Python). * Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Percona, pgAdmin). * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
