Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Classifier to determine tariff classification, interpret legislation, and ensure regulatory compliance in international trade. Key Responsibilities: 1. Determine the correct tariff classification of goods 2. Interpret the TIGIE, legal notes, and general foreign trade rules 3. C.P. 52004 · Determine the correct tariff classification of goods. · Interpret the TIGIE, legal notes, and general foreign trade rules. · Review technical data sheets, catalogs, and product documentation. · Validate non-tariff regulations and restrictions. · Determine applicable taxes and duties. · Provide technical support to operations teams and account executives. · Maintain the tariff classification catalog up to date. · Monitor changes in customs and foreign trade legislation. · Reduce risks of fines or incidents due to incorrect classification. Experience in IMMEX operations, importation, and exportation **Technical Knowledge** · Customs Law. · TIGIE. · General Foreign Trade Rules. · Annex 22\. · NOMs and non-tariff regulations.
