Position Summary: We are seeking an Electrical, Mechanical, or Railway Engineer with a focus on Energy and Railway Traction to review, analyze, and document electrification system designs. Technical analysis skills, writing proficiency, and fluent communication Salary: $4,000.00 (MXN) - $4,800.00 (MXN) per week Job Description: Education: Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, and/or Railway Engineer specialized in Energy and Railway Traction. Knowledge: Application of National and International Electrical System Regulations applicable to Railway Traction Substations (NOM, IEEE, CENELEC, UNE, and/or AREMA) Basic to intermediate knowledge of Railway Electrification (Catenary System and/or Third Rail). Fundamentals of Grounding Systems for Railway Infrastructure. Technical procedures and communication with C.F.E. and/or energy sector authorities (SENER, CRE, LAPEM, etc). Skills and Competencies: Resilience; Technical Analysis and Interpretation for detailed engineering development in Energy and Railway Traction; Document drafting; Critical thinking; AutoCAD 2D, Revit (preferably); Fluent communication across disciplines and with specialist personnel involved; Basic to intermediate Office software proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Responsibilities: Review and analyze the technical feasibility of the Catenary System design based on received information (drawings, technical specifications, documents, etc.), in accordance with terms of reference and current regulations. \* Conduct observations, comments, and suggestions regarding received project documentation for Railway Power Supply and Electrification Systems, using the review formats established by the Specialist Committee. \* Report identified findings from the reviewed documentation to the immediate supervisor and propose alternative solutions. \* Properly prepare technical documentation (official letters, informational cards, inter-departmental procedures, etc.), as well as official documentation, in compliance with regulations and requests from the Military General Residence. \* Timely attendance and participation in in-person and/or videoconference meetings related to Catenary System projects. Requirements: 0–1 year minimum experience (2 years preferred). Interest in Electric-Railway Infrastructure topics. Timely technical-regulatory participation to issue proposals and/or resolutions addressing various issues arising during documentation development. Degree certificate and/or internship letter.
