Opportunity for professional development We are a Mexican company focused on manufacturing and marketing high-quality, innovative packaging and containers, recognized for delivering products and services based on continuous improvement driven by our highly qualified personnel. **We invite you to apply for the position of:** **Diesel Mechanic** **Education:** Technical degree in Automotive Engineering (preferred) or related field **Experience:** 1 year of experience in diesel automotive mechanics for transportation units **Responsibilities:** \- Fault diagnosis \- Interpretation of diagnostic trouble codes using a scanner \- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce failures in transportation units (Kenworth, Cummins, Mercedes, Ford 3 1/2\) according to the production schedule to ensure operational readiness. \- Completing maintenance request forms and obtaining release signatures. \- Supporting and executing projects under the conditions and timelines specified by the company. \- Assisting in verifying parts delivered to the warehouse. \- Notifying the supervisor / Mechanical Maintenance Manager of required parts to complete maintenance tasks. \- Assisting with spare parts inventory. **Skills** \- Organization \- Initiative \- Decision-making \- Planning \- Teamwork \- Supervision of team members \- Negotiation ability \- Effective communication **Schedule** Flexibility to work rotating shifts is required. **We Offer:** Job stability Direct employment with the company If you are interested and meet the profile, do not hesitate to apply. ***(A technical and/or practical exam will be administered)*** Position Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term Salary: $16,000\.00 \- $17,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Transportation assistance or service * Option for an indefinite-term contract * Free uniforms * Food vouchers Education: * Incomplete or ongoing higher technical education (Desirable) Experience: * Diesel mechanics: 1 year (Desirable) Work Location: On-site employment
