**Technical Support Position** * Structured Cabling Technician and Network Support. * Location: Puebla, Pue. (Angelópolis / San Andrés Cholula area). * Schedule: Night shift (Maintenance) \+ 24/7 on-call availability for emergencies. **Job Objective:** Perform preventive and corrective physical maintenance of Voice and Data infrastructure at SITES (MDF/IDF) and user nodes, ensuring cleanliness, order, and proper connectivity in compliance with telecommunications standards. **Main Responsibilities:** * \* SITE Maintenance: Deep physical cleaning (vacuuming and external cleaning) of rack-mounted equipment (Switches, UPS, PDUs). * \* Structured Cabling: Inspection, cable management, and labeling of UTP cables and patch cords according to standards. * \* Node Repairs: Replacement of damaged faceplates, jacks, and patch cords (Category 6A Leviton) in offices and ceilings. * \* Electrical Measurements: Voltage and load readings on PDUs and UPS using a multimeter. * \* Work at Heights: Inspection of nodes located on rooftops (elevated platform will be provided). * \* Documentation: Completion of maintenance checklists and photographic evidence capture (Before/During/After). **Essential Requirements:** * \* Technical Experience: Minimum 2 years in structured cabling installation and maintenance (Leviton brand experience preferred). * \* Tool Handling: Proficiency with impact punch-down tool, crimping tool, multimeter, and network tester (basic scanner). * \* Local Residence: Must reside within a maximum 40-minute commute from the Angelópolis area to meet emergency response time requirements (50 minutes). * \* Night Availability: Preventive maintenance is performed exclusively outside regular office hours. * \* Specific Knowledge: Identification of T568A/B color codes; use of label maker/label printer. **Personal Competencies:** * Extreme cleanliness and orderliness in the work area (customer evaluation criterion). * Ability to follow safety instructions and use PPE (helmet, boots, goggles). * Proactivity in reporting visible failures (equipment alarms).
