Waiter/Cashier

Description

Waiter with experience in cashier duties and SoftRestaurant operation. * Clean the work area each time the task is completed. * Comply with company processes and policies. * Keep the work area organized. * Generate additional sales and offer promotions. * Set up dining room and terrace. * Resolve problems and conflicts with customers. * Place orders for bread and sauces to ensure proper service. * Check standards of dishes served. * Advise customers on gastronomic matters. * Sell wines, food, and other specialty beverages as well as events. * Always maintain appropriate manners when addressing customers. * Verify charges for consumption. * Generate additional sales and offer promotions. * Always keep the work area clean. * Report the status of tables, chairs, and decorations. * Hand over shift responsibilities to the relieving staff or, if none, to the manager. * Request requisitions for consumables and/or shortages. * Comply with company processes and policies. * Recommend and create beverages and desserts. * Ensure utensils are in good condition and clean before and after use. * Keep the cash register, display cases, and machine clean, and follow safety and hygiene standards for the area. * Attend to customer orders. * Receive and call out orders. * Serve at tables and at the bar, if applicable. * Suggest fast-selling beverages to rotate inventory. * This job description is illustrative, not exhaustive.
