JOB DESCRIPTION* Execution of the weekly weekend planning meeting. * Daily monitoring of production plan compliance and finished goods (FG) and semi-finished goods (SFG) inventory levels. * Daily monitoring of customer DMRs and portal assessments. * Ensuring coverage reports are provided to customers when required by operations. Daily safety walkthroughs in raw material (MP) and finished goods (FG) warehouses. * Weekly warehouse safety audit. * Weekly review with warehouse team of open safety items. * Tracking green card compliance with the materials team. * Contributing to compliance with the safety, health, and environmental management system policy and objectives. * Participating in health, safety, and environmental management system trainings and campaigns. * Execution of annual freight expense forecast based on profit plan volume. * Adjustment of monthly freight expense forecast according to sales volume variation. * Daily tracking of freight expenses. * Daily tracking of effective cube utilization (TUMS). * Evaluation and approval of premium freight per requirements. * Monthly review of freight reservation report against received material. * Participation in corporate-level traffic and logistics meetings. * Ensuring materials department participation in traffic and logistics continuous improvement workshops. * Development and management of monthly purchase burden expense forecast. * Efficient and orderly daily monitoring of monthly expenses. * Ensuring implementation and execution of quality systems: IATF and BOS. * Attending daily materials meeting to monitor KPI compliance (absenteeism, TM, receipt and shipment plan, customer deliveries, warehouse occupancy). * Weekly review with Materials Superintendent to ensure KPI compliance. * Weekly EARP results meeting. * Developing, evaluating, and implementing continuous improvement strategies for materials and logistics management. * Daily monitoring of material coverage and arrival with Central Planning. * Attending meetings with suppliers whose performance risks plant operations. * Attending operations meetings with STAFF. * Execution of annual inventory value forecast based on profit plan volume. * Adjustment of monthly inventory value forecast according to sales volume variation. * Daily monitoring of record integrity dashboard. * Weekly Materials KPI meeting. * Setting objectives for direct reports. (In system) * Quarterly review of objective achievement. * Ensuring development plans for direct reports (SA). * Quarterly review of SA plan compliance. * Attending PDCA meetings with STAFF. * Monthly tracking of materials strategy against profit plan. * Preparing various monthly results reports. * Daily monitoring of purchase order compliance via MRO. * Monitoring of service execution via MRO, per terms and conditions. * Ensuring materials department participation in MRO continuous improvement workshops. * Attending meetings with critical suppliers for service, terms, and conditions negotiations. * Monitoring activities per defined MRO savings opportunities.
