Responsible for ensuring high-precision parts A metalworking company in the metallurgical sector is looking for a CNC Lathe Operator with verifiable experience in metalworking manufacturing, responsible for setting up, operating, and verifying the proper functioning of CNC lathes to ensure high-precision parts conforming to drawings and customer specifications. Requirements: Technical degree in Engineering, Mechanics, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience operating CNC lathes. Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 7:00 to 17:00 hrs. Experience: · \- Setup and adjustment of CNC lathes. · \- Use of measuring instruments (micrometer, vernier caliper, calibrator, etc.). · \- Reading and interpretation of engineering drawings. · \- On-machine programming (G and M codes). · \- Alignment, zero-setting, and machining setups. · \- Selection and use of cutting tools. Main Responsibilities: · Set up the lathe according to assigned working conditions. · Execute CNC programs to ensure dimensional quality. · Verify equipment and tool functionality. · Monitor measurements of manufactured parts. · Comply with established quality and safety standards.
