Job Objective** Plan, coordinate, and supervise the institution’s general services (maintenance and cleaning), ensuring continuous, safe, and efficient facility operations in compliance with applicable regulations and institutional standards. **2. Key Responsibilities** **Operational Management** * Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of infrastructure, equipment, and facilities. * Coordinate cleaning, landscaping, pest control, and conservation services. * Ensure optimal conditions in classrooms, laboratories, offices, and common areas. * Manage inventories of supplies, tools, and furniture. **Safety and Compliance** * Supervise physical security and civil protection protocols. * Participate in internal emergency response teams (evacuation, first aid, etc.). * Ensure compliance with municipal and state safety and hygiene regulations. * Support internal and external audits related to infrastructure. **Administrative Management** * Prepare and manage the department’s annual budget. * Manage service providers and service contracts. * Track work orders and incident reports. * Implement departmental performance indicators (KPIs). **Personnel Management** * Coordinate and supervise operational staff (custodial, maintenance, security). * Assign workloads and monitor performance. * Promote a service-oriented, orderly, and continuously improving culture. **3. Academic Profile** * Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field. * Certification in Civil Protection or Safety and Hygiene is desirable. **4. Required Experience** * 3–5 years coordinating general services, maintenance, or facility management. * Experience in educational institutions (desirable). * Budget management and vendor oversight experience. * Supervisory experience with operational staff. **5. Technical Knowledge** * Preventive and corrective maintenance. * Safety and hygiene regulations. * Budgetary control. * Contract and vendor management. * Proficiency in administrative software and Microsoft Office suite. **6.
