Purpose of the Position: Design, review, and validate road infrastructure and urban development projects, ensuring accurate geometric, technical, and regulatory definition of alignments, profiles, cross-sections, and digital terrain models through the use of specialized software, thereby guaranteeing the quality of the construction documents, traceability of technical information, and correct on-site implementation. **General Responsibilities** * Ensure proper technical review, validation, and consistency of road and urban development projects. * Guarantee compliance with applicable technical standards, local regulations, and Mexican Official Standards (NOM). * Safeguard design foundations, digital models, and technical documentation within the projects department. **Specific Responsibilities** * Review and validate project alignments by comparing them against natural ground conditions, verifying feasibility, safety, and technical consistency. * Supervise and validate the geometric design of roadways in new developments according to local regulations and applicable NOM. * Analyze and validate longitudinal profiles and cross-sections, ensuring consistency among topographic surveys, digital models, and construction documents. * Lead the generation, review, and updating of digital terrain models, project surfaces, and contour lines. * Technically validate earthwork volume calculations for cut and fill, ensuring consistency among models, cross-sections, and reports. * Issue technical opinions and reports containing observations, required adjustments, and correction criteria. * Coordinate technically with office-based teams, surveying teams, and construction teams to resolve inconsistencies between design and actual field conditions. * Validate field-requested design changes, evaluating their technical, geometric, and volumetric impacts. * Lead the change control process between design and construction to ensure accurate integration of *As-Built* drawings. * Generate and validate executive technical summaries for surfaces, volumes, and work items. Required Knowledge: * AutoCAD Civil 3D (mandatory). * Civil CAD (mandatory). * AutoCAD. * Microsoft Office suite. Technical Knowledge: * Review of alignments, natural ground, profiles, and cross-sections. * Earthwork volume calculation. * Regulations governing geometric road and urban design.
