Job Summary: Provide in-store floor operational support—including sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service—to achieve performance metrics. Key Responsibilities: 1. In-store operational support: sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service. 2. Merchandise stocking and planogram execution. 3. Customer service and cash register transaction processing. Provide in-store floor operational support by executing relevant operational processes for sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service as established by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to ensure proper adherence and thereby achieving the assigned store’s operational and commercial performance metrics. * Stock merchandise on the sales floor, in overflow areas, and in delivery trucks, following applicable stocking guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to fulfill inventory counts; * Perform proper “fronting” and labeling to categorize merchandise, and participate in store opening and closing tasks, as well as sales floor cleaning activities, to ensure accurate merchandise stocking and optimal store presentation. * Deliver customer service by clarifying inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, functionality, and pricing—thereby providing excellent service reflected in counter sales closures—and handle customer phone calls to address inquiries about specific products or orders. * Accurately process cash register transactions involving cash or credit/debit cards, and process returns in strict compliance with the cash register payment policy to ensure effective payment collection and sales closure transactions. * Completed high school education * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
