We are a great team—and would be delighted to welcome you aboard! **Your Responsibilities** **Objective:** Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards and provide support for supplier activities throughout the entire product lifecycle, during both development and series production phases. The SQM will act as the liaison between the plant, suppliers, and the global supplier quality organization, aiming to improve supplier performance and guarantee product conformity. This position requires a strong commitment to safety. **Responsibilities:** * Organize and conduct technical meetings with suppliers. * Develop and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with the commodity buyer. * Conduct supplier evaluations and audits. * Monitor and approve APQP and PPAP processes. * Review and provide feedback on component and process drawings, calculations, stack-ups, specifications, and other design elements and critical characteristic lists. * Manage design inputs and outputs during the launch of new drawings. * Support plant SQEs in 8D evaluations and supplier follow-up activities. * Validate 8D reports directly at supplier facilities. * Promote improvement initiatives for critical suppliers (e.g., OPX Scan, Supplier Development Program). * Track key items in supplier escalation cases. * Monitor KPIs for escalated suppliers. * Responsible for managing and tracking critical supplier escalations, ensuring timely response during project or new product launch risk situations. **Your Profile** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical, Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. **Experience:** 3 years of experience using and implementing quality tools as a product and/or mechanical process specialist (thermal treatment experience preferred). 3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
