




Position Summary: We are seeking an IT specialist for UDLAP, responsible for managing technological assets and ensuring excellence in service delivery to the university community. At the **Universidad de las Américas Puebla (UDLAP)**, we seek specialized IT talent to ensure optimal operation of our multimedia and computing equipment. Your primary objective will be to properly manage technological assets and guarantee an excellent service experience for our entire university community. **What will you do in this position? (Main responsibilities):** * Respond promptly and effectively to incidents reported by internal and external customers. * Record audiovisual equipment assignment information in institutional systems and manage physical inventory and spare parts. * Use provided supplies efficiently and appropriately, and directly coordinate with suppliers. * Continuously self-train and share knowledge gained from your duties with the rest of the team. * Implement department-established strategies to improve user support and continuously evaluate new technologies applicable to the institution. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of audiovisual and computing equipment, as well as their installation across various institutional spaces. * Properly manage and record assets in the inventory. * Analyze audiovisual equipment wear trends to proactively allocate resources aligned with the university’s needs. * Monitor technology strategies designed by the General Directorate of IT and the IT Customer Services Directorate. * Resolve special cases escalated to coordination and maintain the integrity of hardware and software assigned to the technical support area, computer labs, and projection rooms. * Develop and maintain up-to-date user manuals. * Report to management any violations of IT regulations committed by any member of the university community. **We Offer:** * Competitive salary. * Statutory benefits. * Job stability, an excellent organizational climate, and opportunities for professional development. **Requirements:** * **Academic Qualification:** Completed Engineering or Bachelor’s degree (degree certificate and professional license) in Computer Systems, Informatics, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields. * **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years providing technical support (hardware and software), helpdesk services, and audiovisual equipment handling.
