Electromechanical Engineer - Experience with Solar Panels

Job Summary: Lead field crew engineer responsible for supervising and performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs at photovoltaic installations. Key Highlights: 1. Field crew leadership and supervision 2. Inspection and maintenance of photovoltaic systems 3. Preparation of reports and activity tracking The engineer will lead and participate in a work crew performing the following activities: - Field crew leadership and supervision. - Taking photographs and collecting evidence of work performed. - Preparing daily activity reports as well as final activity completion reports. - Completing logbooks for results and measurements. - Interpreting results and measurement data. - Ensuring and monitoring on-site compliance for proper access and presence of the work crew at the solar photovoltaic (SFV) facility. - Attending progress and activity tracking meetings with the client/facility owner. - Preparing root cause reports upon identifying any defects. - Cleaning solar panels, inverters, and electrical panels. - Visual inspection and verification of proper operation of solar panels, structures, conduits, wiring, arrays, transformers, electrical panels, and weather stations, in accordance with industry best practices and current regulations. - Measuring electrical parameters: currents, voltages, polarity, ground continuity. - Performing required re-tightening and torque applications. - Conducting thermographic imaging. - Measuring ground resistance. - Measuring insulation resistance. - Replacing/installing solar panels, structures, inverters, and wiring as needed. - Cleaning solar panels, inverters, and electrical panels. - Visual inspection and verification of proper operation of solar panels, structures, conduits, wiring, arrays, transformers, electrical panels, and weather stations, in accordance with industry best practices and current regulations. - Measuring electrical parameters: currents, voltages, polarity, ground continuity. - Performing required re-tightening and torque applications. - Conducting thermographic imaging. - Measuring ground resistance. - Measuring insulation resistance. - Replacing/installing solar panels, structures, inverters, and wiring as needed. -Requirements- Minimum education: Higher education – Bachelor's degree Less than 1 year of experience Age: between 25 and 50 years Willingness to travel: Yes Keywords: engineers, ingeniera, ing, engineer
