To find out more visit **www.lenovo.com**, and read about the latest news via our **StoryHub**. ### **Description and Requirements** **About the Role** Lenovo's Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) is actively recruiting for a **Platform Test Engineer.** Our Test Platform is a framework that enables manufacturing tests to be executed in our factories and provides the means to accept order details, configure the test to be run, provide run control and error handling, and interface with shop floor control and warranty databases. New features are constantly required as product architecture and content changes, as well as to provide process optimizations. The Test Platform team also develops tools for process visualization and for extracting and presenting process and quality data as required by our internal teams and customers. Job duties include designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining processes and code for our test platform and visualization tools. Lenovo has manufacturing facilities in China, Hungary, the US, and Brazil, and travel to these sites is expected as part of this role. **Responsibilities:** * Interfacing stakeholders to establish requirements for test platform and tool projects * Design, develop, and maintain code to provide platform and tool solutions + Using Python 3 for code development + Vue for web frameworks (JavaScript) + + MSQL for database queries * Use data from IT systems and shop floor control to develop real time visualization tools * Interface with multiple fulfillment sites to enable and manage solution delivery without impacting production. **Basic Requirements:** * 3 \- 5 years' experience with Python for designing, developing, and maintaining code * Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related degree or equivalent work experience * Programming \& Software: Proficiency in developing software and scripts (Python, C\+\+, or similar) to build internal tools and automation frameworks. **Preferred Requirements:** * Experience in interfacing with stakeholders to establish requirements for test platform and tool projects * Strong written and verbal communication skills **Additional Locations**: * Mexico \- Nuevo León \- Monterrey * Mexico \- Nuevo León \- Monterrey
