




Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on tractor-trailer units, ensuring their proper mechanical, electrical, and braking system operation, in order to guarantee fleet availability and safety. Main Responsibilities * Carry out preventive maintenance services (oil changes, filter replacements, fluid level checks, and component inspections). * Conduct basic diagnostics of mechanical, electrical, and brake system failures. * Assist with minor repairs to engines, suspension, steering, clutches, and transmissions. * Record all performed work in the logbook and report required parts or components. * Comply with industrial safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment. * Support Mechanic A in major repairs when required. * Keep the work area clean and organized. * Meet established timeframes for each service. * Education: Technical degree in diesel or automotive mechanics. * Experience: 2 to 3 years maintaining tractor-trailers or heavy-duty vehicles. **Verifiable with employment letters** * Diesel engines (Cummins, Detroit, PACCAR, etc.). * Air and electric braking systems. * Basic diagnostics using manual tools and scan tools. * Lubrication, suspension, steering systems, and ABS brakes.
