Control segregation, identification, temporary storage, and disposal of special-handling, recyclable, and hazardous waste, as applicable. Maintain environmental records: waste generation, manifests, logs, inspections, and evidence of compliance. Support monitoring and analysis of water, energy, gas, and other relevant environmental resource consumption. Conduct periodic inspections of temporary storage areas, waste generation points, containers, and operational conditions with environmental impact. Monitor environmental suppliers, waste collections, certificates, and supporting documentation. Support investigation and response to incidents or deviations with actual or potential environmental impact. Participate in internal and external audits and environmental compliance walkthroughs. Support environmental training and awareness programs for plant personnel. Update environmental dashboards, indicators, and reports for tracking objectives, targets, and performance. Immediately report conditions posing risks of pollution, spills, legal non-compliance, or deviations from the management system. Authority to halt or escalate practices with potential environmental impact and request immediate containment or correction. Identify, evaluate, and update environmental aspects and impacts associated with processes, routine and non-routine activities. Monitor and analyze water, energy, and other resource consumption, identifying deviations and improvement opportunities. Coordinate comprehensive management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, ensuring segregation, storage, disposal, and documentary evidence. Track documentation for permits, licenses, and regulatory procedures applicable to plant operations before municipal, state, and federal authorities, in coordination with involved departments. Compile, safeguard, and update technical and administrative files required for renewals, updates, or authority requirement responses. Authority to require environmental control records, evidence, and conditions from generating areas per internal guidelines.
