A leading company in Aluminum Industrial Parts Casting is looking for a Quality and Engineering Coordinator. **Knowledge:** * Knowledge of Quality Management Systems * Knowledge of quality management systems under current ISO 9001 **Competencies:** * Leadership * Communication * Organization * Problem solving * Responsibility **Education:** Desirable degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial or Metallurgical Engineering**.** **Responsibilities:** * Supervise the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with established standards and objectives. * Coordinate internal and external audits, manage corrective actions and prevent non-conformities. * Monitor quality and engineering indicators, lead review meetings and propose improvements in processes, products and systems. * Ensure staff training on key QMS topics and maintain updated training records. * Control system documentation, issue quality certificates and perform laboratory analysis to ensure product conformity. * Evaluate suppliers, manage semi-annual performance reviews and maintain an updated list of approved suppliers. * Represent the department during audits, act as liaison with certification bodies and assume leadership responsibilities when required. Availability to work rotating shifts is required. Desirable experience of 2 years in a similar position.
