Job Description and Activity Details **Objective**: Provide Level 1 support to users and equipment. * Provide support for networks, hardware, users, devices, and software installed on the corporate network. * Deliver basic training to new users and ongoing assistance to existing users. * Install, configure, and update software (Windows, Office, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Minitab, antivirus, etc.). * Generate computer system images to enable faster configuration of devices. * Install and configure network cabling and connections. * Create and unlock user accounts in "Active Directory", as well as create AD objects. * Request services and/or quotations from vendors. * Install or supervise vendors during installation/maintenance of computer equipment and peripherals, such as computers, monitors, printers, disks, scanners, etc. * Verify system operation. Maintain up-to-date inventory records of equipment, devices, and software installed within the company. * Responsible for retrieving computer equipment from personnel who leave the company. * Assist with configuration of new telephones. * Use "help desk" as a tool to monitor and assist users. * Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the Organization’s and Department’s Systems Policies. * Support various activities within the Systems Department.
