Position: Institutional Communication Coordinator
Position Objective: Design, structure, and coordinate CMIC Jalisco’s institutional communication strategy, ensuring message consistency, presidential positioning, and proper execution across media, social networks, and institutional materials.
Key Responsibilities
* 1\. Strategy and Narrative **Define institutional communication lines (key messages, tone, positioning).** Translate committee and presidential objectives into communication campaigns. **Prepare clear briefs for design and social media teams.**
* 2\. Strategic Content Creation **Writing of: o Speeches (where applicable) o Institutional messages o Press releases o Talking points for interviews o Social media copy o Content and editorial material for Multiplica magazine** Ensure consistency across all published materials.
* 3\. Media Relations **Respond to media inquiries.** Coordinate presidential interviews (scheduling, key messages, follow-up). **Develop and maintain a media database.** Track publications (media clipping).
* 4\. Internal Team Coordination **Organize workflow among: o Design (graphic materials) o Social media (posting and coverage)** Prioritize content based on institutional relevance.
* 5\. Strategic Event Coverage **Define how each event should be communicated.** Establish the focus of each coverage (institutional, political, technical, social). **Supervise publication to ensure fulfillment of each event’s communication objective.**
* 6\. Editorial Planning **Create a monthly editorial calendar aligned with: o Presidential agenda o CMIC events o Sector developments o Multiplica magazine **Propose specific campaigns (e.g., positioning, membership, key events).**
* 7\. Tactical Content Production Support **Provide support in content creation when operational workload demands it, including: o Basic video editing (events, capsules, institutional messages) o Development of executive presentations o Writing and assembling social media posts **Ensure that, even during direct execution, institutional message quality and consistency are maintained.** Prioritize communication continuity during high-demand scenarios or simultaneous event coverage.
* Required Profile Education **Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field. Experience in: o Institutional communication o Media management o Strategic writing** Desired experience in: o Business associations, government, or politics. Key Skills **Excellent writing and spelling.** Strategic thinking. **Ability to synthesize information.** Crisis management (ideal) **Organization and prioritization** Media interaction and spokesperson handling Soft Skills **Judgment** Proactivity **Discretion** Ability to work under pressure
Salary: $12,000.00 \- $15,000.00 per month
