Academic Requirements * **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Degree is mandatory). * **Desirable:** Postgraduate studies or specialization courses in Product Design, Plastics Engineering, or Injection Molding. Essential Technical Skills * Advanced proficiency in **Computer-Aided Design (CAD)** and **3D Modeling** software (e.g., SolidWorks, NX, CATIA, AutoCAD). * In-depth knowledge of **plastic transformation processes**, especially **Injection Molding**. * Knowledge of plastic materials (polymers) and their properties (e.g., PP, PE, ABS, PC, Nylon). * Proficiency in **Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)**. * Knowledge of **Finite Element Analysis (FEA)** or plastic flow simulation (MOLDFLOW, desirable). * Ability to interpret mold blueprints. Main Responsibilities * Lead the design team in the development of **new plastic products** from concept to production. * Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability (**DFM - Design for Manufacturing**) in injection molding processes. * Coordinate with mold and production departments for prototype development and testing validation. * Generate and maintain technical documentation (drawings, specifications, bills of materials). * Propose design improvements to optimize product cost, functionality, and aesthetics. INJECTION MOLD MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Position Purpose Ensure maximum availability and optimal performance of all injection and blow molds and tooling through the management and execution of world-class maintenance plans. Essential Requirements * **Education:** Mechanical, Electromechanical or Industrial Maintenance Engineering or related field (Degree or TSU desirable). * **Experience:** Minimum **5 years** in maintenance, repair, and adjustment of plastic injection molds, including 2 years in a leadership role (Manager, Supervisor, or Coordinator). * **Key Knowledge (CRITICAL):** * Advanced skills in **preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance** for injection and blow molds. * Proficiency in using mold shop equipment (milling machine, grinder, lathe, TIG/MIG welding). * Diagnosis and repair of **hot runner systems**, hydraulic and pneumatic mold systems. * Knowledge of implementing **5'S** and maintenance management systems (CMMS, desirable). Main Responsibilities * Design and implement **Preventive Maintenance (PM)** and predictive programs for all molds. * Lead and train mold technician teams, assigning and supervising work orders. * Perform diagnosis and major repairs on tooling, minimizing production downtime. * Manage inventory of critical mold spare parts. * Propose and implement design improvements in molds in collaboration with the Design department. This position is responsible for leading and developing our customer experience team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service across all customer touchpoints and after-sales support. Ensure compliance with service standards, the code of ethics, policies, and procedures through regular audits and coaching.
