Join our Environmental Team, where you will primarily coordinate and ensure environmental compliance across all national locations, mitigating risks of negative environmental impacts and penalties arising from non-compliance with current environmental regulations. In this position, you will perform the following responsibilities: * Lead, control, and monitor activities to ensure proper handling of waste (Municipal Solid Waste [MSW], Hazardous Medical Waste [HMW], Production Waste [PW], and Biomedical Risk Waste [BRW]) across various Business Formats, by developing procedures, infrastructure standards, advising waste generators and suppliers, monitoring environmental footprint reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and reducing costs. * Research, analyze, and interpret new federal, state, or municipal regulatory updates related to waste (MSW, HMW, PW, and BRW) and business format operations, maintaining regulatory compliance. * Regulatory compliance and cost reduction related to environmental taxes. * Lead and manage internal and external audits for environmental performance reports, alternative waste projects, and advisory services to waste room supervisors and waste-generating areas, securing collaboration from involved departments and consolidating a circular economy strategy. * Develop, manage, and deliver training on waste management (MSW, HMW, PW, and BRW) to develop supporting materials for proper waste handling and their strategic dissemination, guiding waste room supervisors and waste-generating areas in correct waste handling practices.
