Administers and manages the tactical and operational processes of the solution architecture practice in accordance with the TOGAF reference framework, thereby contributing to the design and construction of enterprise capabilities for the company’s success and profitability aligned with its established mission. The Solution Architect designs technological solutions based on industry-recognized design patterns and best practices, ensuring that solutions meet business requirements, corporate vision, and IT strategy to achieve them. Responsible for ensuring that designed technological solutions comply from the initial design phase with information security controls (Crown jewels), as well as applicable local and group-level regulations and legislation, to support compliance with key insurance industry concepts (e.g., data privacy, know your customer, anti-money laundering, among others). Intermediate English. Some experience with design patterns. Their scope focuses on large-scale projects and complete functional domains. \* Some knowledge of RPA tools and/or infrastructure automation. Requirements and Technical Skills Responsible for defining technology strategies and postures based on market trends, aligned with business and company needs. Some knowledge of front-end and back-end development (preferably MEAN stack). Responsible for providing technical direction during project implementation. Some knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases. Responsible for workload distribution, conflict resolution, risk identification, and mitigation to ensure achievement of expected objectives for each program. Some knowledge of application servers (Jboss and WAS). Responsible for resolving conflicts and differences arising during assignments to ensure achievement of defined project objectives. Some knowledge of programming languages such as JAVA, JavaScript, Python. Responsible for leading and managing a solution architecture team. Basic knowledge of TOGAF. Skills: Ability to work under pressure, high-quality output, and results-oriented. The scope of the Solution Architect’s role is defined by the business issue at hand. To fulfil the role, a Solution Architect utilises business and technology expertise and experience. **Job Description \- Grade Specific** ------------------------------------- Associate Architect Assist in and support the delivery of solutions for a project or a significant part of a project. Gain experience, knowledge and practice the techniques to manage requirements, integrate part project solutions, understand the structures and management techniques and technical governance. Assist the lead architect andoror team to deliver the desired results or outcomes of the project, including leading the teams across multiple projects. Certification: preferably Capgemini Architects certification level 0 or 1, relevant security certifications, IAF andoror industry certifications such as TOGAF 9 or equivalent.
