The Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) release engineering team is looking for high\-caliber individuals who are passionate, innovative, and value being part of a team that is focused on transforming the development of cloud\-based enterprise business applications. The ideal candidate is capable of operating comfortably in a complex ecosystem of teams/tools/timelines, at pace, and under dynamic conditions. This is not a good fit for everyone. The Operations Engineer – Release Engineering is a technical hands\-on role focused on operating and evolving a next generation, fully automated cloud software delivery pipeline. Career Level \- IC2 **Key Responsibilities:** * Operate, monitor and maintain the ERP software delivery pipeline, focusing on CI/CD, source code management/builds, development environments, testing and delivery. * Incident management and prevention: participate in postmortems/RCAs, coordinate fixes, define repair items, and implement data\-driven prevention and continuous improvement. * Automation AI/ML and GenAI integrated solutions: Eliminate toil by automating ERP software delivery pipeline operational workflows, code delivery, configuration management, recovery procedures, as well as internal tools and reusable scripts/services to accelerate delivery and reduce errors. As part of a team, contribute to the design \& development of AI/ML and GenAI integrated solutions with LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, and conversational AI. * Observability: As part of a team define and implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and tracing strategies; improve diagnostics and performance visibility for rapid triage. * Cross\-functional collaboration: partner with product, operations, internal ERP tooling teams to translate requirements into secure, scalable solutions; communicate effectively with technical and non\-technical stakeholders. **Minimum Qualifications:** * BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience. * 1\-2 years of release engineering experience. * Strong troubleshooting, problem\-solving, and analytical skills. * Familiarity with Linux environments, especially Oracle Linux. * Strong scripting skills (Groovy, Go, Python, Linux shell scripting, etc.). * In\-depth understanding of source code management concepts and experience with modern systems (e.g., git). Experience with CI release engineering tools (e.g., Jenkins/Hudson, Maven/Gradle), and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). * SDLC experience: development \& code quality/review practices, codeline \& change management practices, CI/CD, testing methodologies \& tooling. * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Able to convey technical content to both technical and non\-technical audiences. * MUST BE a dedicated, proactive go\-getter capable of operating in a dynamic, fast\-paced working environment. **Preferred Additional Domain Knowledge:** * AI/ML/GenAI experience with foundational models, RAG, agentic architectures; model deployment, optimization, monitoring, and retraining. * Observability: hands\-on experience designing dashboards, alerts, traces, logs, and metrics; defining SLOs/SLIs and error budgets; on\-call readiness and runbook quality. * Automation and scripting: proficiency in scripting to automate operational workflows, build tooling, and CI/CD tasks (e.g., shell scripting, python, configuration\-as\-code, task runners). * Proficient in distributed systems/microservices using java / python; SQL/data modeling; python for AI/automation as well as Oracle Database (RDBMS). * Cloud and containers: experience with containerization, orchestration, and resilient, fault\-tolerant microservices.
