




We are seeking a passionate **Folk Dance Instructor** dedicated to preserving and promoting Mexican cultural traditions. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching classes to **secondary-level students**, fostering an appreciation for dance, teamwork, and respect for our cultural roots. **Schedule: Mondays and Fridays, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:00 AM–5:00 PM.** Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver folk dance classes appropriate for students’ age and skill level. * Teach technique, repertoire, and choreographies representing diverse regions of Mexico. * Prepare and coordinate school performances, festivals, and cultural events. * Evaluate students’ performance and progress. * Maintain a safe, respectful, and motivating classroom environment. * Classroom management regarding discipline, order, and positive social interaction. * Flexibility in schedule to fulfill duties, participate in festivals, and attend requested performances. **Requirements:** * Proven experience as a folk dance instructor or performer. * Knowledge of technique, repertoire, and traditional costumes. * Ability to work effectively with adolescents. * Creativity, responsibility, and strong communication skills. * Schedule flexibility. * Completed high school diploma or related bachelor’s degree.
