Position Summary:
Workshop Manager responsible for fleet management, supervision of technical staff, and inventory control to ensure effective maintenance of transportation units.

**1\. Academic Qualifications and Experience**
* **Education:** Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Diesel Mechanics Technician with extensive experience.
* **Experience:** Minimum 3 to 5 years in workshop leadership or management roles, preferably in public transportation fleets, buses, or heavy cargo vehicles.
* **Technical Knowledge:**
* Heavy-duty diesel engines.
* Hydraulic systems, transmissions, and air brakes.
* Electronic diesel engine diagnostics (using scanners).
* Preventive and corrective maintenance of vehicles.
**2\. Key Responsibilities**
* **Fleet Management:** Ensure buses undergo preventive and corrective maintenance to prevent breakdowns en route.
* **Staff Supervision:** Lead, motivate, and train mechanical technicians.
* **Inventory Control:** Manage stock of spare parts, lubricants, and tools to avoid downtime.
* **Safety and Cleanliness:** Maintain order, cleanliness, and compliance with safety regulations (use of PPE) and hazardous waste handling (oils, filters).
* **Administrative Management:** Prepare budgets, maintenance cost reports per km, and service order tracking.
* **Flexible Working Hours.**
