Position Summary: We are seeking a Project and Design Engineer with experience in developing and implementing cost-saving projects and managing NPI, ensuring quality and productivity standards are met. Key Highlights: 1. Design, development, and implementation of high-impact cost-saving projects. 2. End-to-end management of product design, process design, and NPI projects. 3. Leadership in validation and implementation of projects with technical teams. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Design, development, planning, and effective implementation of high-impact cost-saving projects with rapid return on investment. * Management of multiple product design, process design, and NPI projects—from conceptual stage through introduction, validation, and release to the production floor. Responsibilities include cost-savings tracking, cost control, budgeting, documentation, adherence to committed timelines, quality, safety, and productivity. * Conduct failure analysis and investigation of product/process issues, providing data-driven analysis and proposing solutions to prevent recurrence—thereby generating improvement opportunities and cost reductions. * Implement activities to ensure compliance of products, systems, and controls with Design Engineering requirements and product specifications. * Design and execute internal and external test protocols. Responsible for analyzing data and results to incorporate them into design and development. * Lead production teams and technical groups in project validation and implementation; jointly develop validation protocols with Process Engineering. * Collaborate with the Design team to execute, release, and validate cost-saving and improvement projects. * Compliance with ISO standards, stage-gate processes, and regulatory requirements. *This is not an exhaustive list of all job responsibilities.
