The EHS Engineer is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of environmental, health, and safety programs in compliance with local, state, federal, and corporate requirements. This position promotes a strong safety culture, conducts risk assessments, leads training initiatives, and supports incident investigations, with the goal of ensuring a safe and sustainable workplace. 1. Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies governing EHS&S standards. 2. Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk and hazard assessments. 3. Support the site's incident investigation process, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions. 4. Support the site in maintaining and updating EHS&S documentation, compliance reports, and facility permits. 5. Develop and deliver EHS&S training and awareness programs to promote a prevention-oriented culture. 6. Ensure EHS&S policies are integrated into organizational projects. 7. Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and contractor teams to implement safe work practices and process improvements. 8. Provide site support during internal and external EHS&S audits and inspections.
