Job Summary: The Senior Accountant manages, analyzes, and oversees accounting and cost processes to ensure financial integrity, cost control, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manages and analyzes accounting and cost processes 2. Leads monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings and prepares financial statements 3. Analyzes and controls production costs and variances **Senior Accountant** ***Objective*** The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing, analyzing, and overseeing the organization’s accounting and cost processes, ensuring the integrity of financial information, proper cost control, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies. This role combines financial accounting with cost analysis to support profitability, operational efficiency, and business decision-making. ***Responsibilities*** * Prepare and review accounting entries, reconciliations, and account analyses. * Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings. * Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports. * Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards. * Support internal and external audits. * Implement and improve internal controls and accounting processes. * Analyze and control production, operational, or service delivery costs. * Prepare standard, actual, and variance cost reports. * Monitor inventories, inventory valuation, and cost adjustments. * Analyze cost variances (materials, labor, overhead). ***Requirements*** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Senior Accountant. * Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and cost accounting principles. * Experience using accounting systems and advanced Excel skills. * Bilingual: English and Spanish. **Working Hours** Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Location: **"Valle del Sur" Industrial Park.** Workplace: On-site employment
