




**Job Description** **Responsibilities:** * Comply with Smiths’ policies, internal work regulations, and leadership behaviors. * Implement and participate in all of Smiths’ quality, safety, health, and environmental programs, as well as their policies, procedures, and training requirements. * Prevent workplace violence and promote a positive organizational environment. * Maintain the work area clean, orderly, and in good condition. * Attend and participate in organizational trainings and training programs. * Assist in assigning and coordinating activities within the electromechanical area. * Train and assist in evaluating Electromechanical Technicians I and II, and recommend appropriate development plans. * Identify priorities within the electromechanical area. * Substitute for Electromechanical Technicians I and II as required by departmental needs. * Assist the supervisor in resolving work-related issues. Supervisory duties are secondary to electromechanical maintenance tasks; therefore, this role is not responsible for final decisions regarding Quality and Quantity of output, or personnel actions such as transfers, terminations, promotions, or disciplinary measures. * Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the electromechanical maintenance function. * Monitor incidents reported by technicians assigned to this area. * Perform all assigned tasks or any other duties arising from job operations or requested by the supervisor or management. **Requirements** **Knowledge, Skills, and Technical Competencies:** **Education:** * Technical degree in industrial electromechanics. **Experience:** * Minimum 5 years of experience in electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. **Language:** * Basic English for reading manuals (30%) **Knowledge and Competencies:** * Knowledge of PLC programming. * Understanding of electrical and pneumatic diagrams. * Knowledge of robots (FANUC, ABB, or YAMAHA). * Knowledge of various communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Modbus, etc.). * Knowledge of electro-pneumatics. * Ability to work effectively in a team. * Analytical ability and logical thinking. * Ability to prioritize and manage tasks. * Customer-oriented attitude. * Results-driven attitude. * Written and verbal communication skills. * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. **Additional Information** We believe diverse perspectives and backgrounds are what drive a company’s success.
