




**Job Description** * Comply with Smiths’ policies, internal work regulations, and leadership behaviors. * Comply with and participate in all of Smiths’ quality, safety, health, and environmental programs, as well as their policies, procedures, and training requirements. * Prevent violence and promote a positive organizational environment. * Maintain the workplace clean, orderly, and in good condition. * Attend and participate in organizational trainings and training programs. * Lead teams and contribute individually to selected projects aimed at identifying business opportunities or improving quality, reducing costs, and shortening cycle times, etc., thereby achieving competitive advantages using the DMAIC methodology (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), including metrics, statistical analysis tools, and process improvement techniques. * Identify, lead, and execute (2–4) simultaneous cross-functional process improvement projects. * Analyze business and user needs, and required documentation, to develop metrics and process improvement and/or design. * Update Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement records. * Serve as a change agent to systematically drive and implement organizational changes to increase customer satisfaction and business productivity. * Conduct training on business process changes. * Perform all duties or any other tasks arising from job operations or as directed by supervisor or management. **Requirements** **Knowledge, Skills, and Technical Competencies:** **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in engineering. **Experience:** * Five (5) years or more implementing improvement processes in the company using Six Sigma tools and methodology. **Language:** * Intermediate-to-advanced English (80%) **Knowledge and Competencies:** * Six Sigma Green Belt certification. * Knowledge of Manufacturing Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), New Product Introduction, Reengineering Processes, Maintenance, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ISO/QS, Environmental and Safety Standards, etc. * Ability to work effectively in teams. * Ability to prioritize, plan, and manage projects. * Data analysis capability. * Attitude oriented toward driving change. * Results-oriented attitude. * Ability to identify needs and opportunities for change. * Project management ability. * Written and verbal communication skills. * Negotiation skills. * Teaching ability. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. * Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent drafting software. **Willingness to Travel:** Willing to travel up to 5% of the time for training and/or other business purposes. **Additional Information** We believe diverse perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company thrive.
