OBJECTIVE Ensure the administration, use, and maintenance of technological resources (hardware and software), as well as provide technical support to students, teachers, and administrative staff to guarantee the proper functioning of technologies on campus. FUNCTIONS Provide technical advice to students, teachers, and administrative staff on IT matters to ensure correct use of the technological infrastructure on campus. Verify the operation of computing equipment, printers, network connections, and other technological equipment in offices, CTCs, and workshops with support from IT Talisis MTY. Verify the functionality of the communications site and the local data and voice network on campus. Manage maintenance and procurement of computer technology to ensure complete and well-maintained equipment, in coordination with IT Talisis MTY. Prepare technological equipment with necessary software and hardware installations for daily operations. Administer and update the inventory of technological equipment on campus to maintain control over all devices. Create and maintain email accounts for incoming students, teachers, and administrative staff, ensuring their control and security. Verify the security of information on campus technological equipment and network connections to prevent potential cyberattacks. Manage and provide technological tools (projectors, remotes, cables) to students and teachers on campus, while maintaining control over their custody. Provide technical support to engineers responsible for national telecommunications services located at IT Talisis MTY. Follow up on campus tickets together with IT and the central team. Ensure that photographs are taken of all incoming students during orientation courses for credential generation.
