Job Description and Activity Details Responsible for managing, identifying, and forecasting purchasing preferences; evaluating suppliers based on quotation analysis; and contributing to cost reduction, in order to procure goods under optimal conditions of quality and service. Experience and Requirements * Review the sales report generated by the same department, combined with customer forecasts, and process purchase orders according to their needs. * Maintain production lines fully supplied with direct materials to ensure a continuous workflow, generating purchase orders aligned with established minimum and maximum inventory levels based on historical purchasing data. * Explore new products, services, or suppliers to impact cost, lead time, and quality reduction, among others—without compromising production processes. * Request advance payments from suppliers and register them in the system for the Accounting Department, as required. * Identify, evaluate, and communicate supply interruption risks to the supervisor and relevant stakeholders. * Meet weekly metric targets. * Perform monthly adjustments of minimum and maximum stock levels for materials. * Obtain quotations from multiple suppliers for requirements, seeking the best delivery time, cost, product quality, and credit terms.
